Sometimes there are moments in which the world seems to stop spinning.
It’s as if God is trying to get you to pay attention, because that second of life is so profound.
I had three of those moments last weekend.
On Saturday, I …

Artisans Across America: Handmade paper

I honestly could look at paper for hours. Solids, prints, cards, books, notepads. Honestly. For. Hours.

Etsy is a great place to find custom-made, handmade paper products. How many items do you think will come up if you go to Etsy.com and type “paper” into the search bar?

Truth is, items are being added every minute. Guess how many there were when I posted this? No joke — 14,889. Paper products only. For. Real. 14,889.

Well, if you were close with your guess, (and there is NO WAY you were *cheater*), you, along with, well, everyone, will win a fabulous prize! It isn’t fast or shiny, but because I know how valuable time is these days — I have sifted through thousands of Etsy items for you and found some pretty great vendors. Ha! Now you can’t pout and say, “Buuuuuut I’ve never won anything before,” the next time your scratch-off ticket comes up nil.

Guess what, though? Etsy is a place where even lottery losers can afford glamourous things {and contribute to the lifestyle wonder that is handmade.}

Featured Etsy seller: Fabulous Finds, Dallas, Texas

I mean, how chic is this? If I were to grab this out of my mailbox tomorrow, I think I’d jump up and down in the driveway. You know what would even be more awesome? If the card were also the gift. Yes, I’m serious. I don’t kid around about chandeliers, people… real ones or paper ones. 1.) Buy this card. 2.) Buy a really cool frame. 3.) Write something completely meaningful and spectacular inside the card. 4.) Wrap the frame. 5.) Attach the card to the package. 6.) Mail it. 7.) Know that you gave a completely unique and heartfelt gift and didn’t break the bank. 8.) And that is awesome. P.S. The card is only $4 and it comes in other colors, too. Why, you ask? Because this paper company doesn’t mess around with their chandeliers… thus earning a place on my esteemed list.

Here are some other finds from the same Texas papeterie:

I love making my own stationary. I swear, I’ve never met a pair of scalloped scissors that I didn’t like. Maybe you aren’t crafty, but you love the crafty look. That’s why there’s Etsy. Handmade by someone else’s hands. It’s kind of like when you crave complicated food, so you just go to a restaurant. Fulfilling, yet you don’t have to be the one doing all the work.

The turquoise and polka-dot card just made me tear up. I really need it. For what, I don’t know. But I need it. The pink gift tags also have my name on them. You can have them, if you beat me to the checkout, that is. And I’m warning you, I can run in heels.

Dallas does it right, y’all. Browse through the rest of Fabulous Finds’ shop, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll want 92 of everything.
