Nearly every day, I snap a photo of something or someone. Which, of course, is why I am thankful for digital cameras and the fact that I have a thousand chances to get it right. Technology makes a novice photographer like myself look a lot better than I really am. You should see some of the stuff that falls under “delete.” Not. good.

On this blog, I plan to use a mix of my own images and images I credit to other bloggers, magazines and various Web outlets. I do this mainly because the things most intriguing to me are things I see through another’s eye. I suppose it is because it always takes me off guard and forces to me to see creativity through someone else’s camera lens. As a result, many of my own images do not make it to the homepage. And then there’s that whole bandwidth issue, which is a monster I’d rather not face.
